SURATUL IKHLAS (Qul huwa llahu Ahadun)

The following are some of the ways we can use Suratul Ikhlas:

1. 4 rakat with 2 salama on each rakat, one(1) fathiah and fifty(50) suratul Ikhlas. After salama, make a separate sajdah say your intention, raise your head and read suratul Ikhlas fifty(50) times

2. 4 rakat with 2 salama, first rakat; fatihah (1), suratul ikhlas (10), second rakat fatihah (1), suratul ikhlas (20) , third rakat fatihah (1) suratul ikhlas (30) and fourth rakat fatihah (1) suratul ikhlas (40),And after salaama, make your intention and read suratul ikhlas 100 times.

3. 2 rakat, (1) salaama on each rakat after fatihah Qul huwa allahu Ahadun 33 times. And after salaama, make your intention and recite suratul ikhlas 66 times.

4. 2 rakat one salaama. On each rakat suratul ikhlas 500 times and after salaama make your intention and read laa illaaha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu mina zzoolimiina.

Narrated Anas Bin Malik (RTA) that there was a man who trades between Sham and Medina, during the life of prophet (SAW). And he travels alone always without the company of other trade caravans due to his experience and reliance on ALLAH. One day, on his way back to Medina, a horse-riding armed robber accosted him and shouted stop! And the trader said that ‘what do you want from me. Leave my way and let me go’. The thief said that ‘the money is mine and I will kill you’. The trader replied: ‘don’t waste my life take the money and allow me go’. The armed robber insisted on killing him, at this juncture the trader begged him to allow him perform ablution and observe Nawafil. The armed robber allowed him believing that nothing will safe him (the trader) from death. Then he observed 4 rakahs and said the following Dua (prayers) 3times: TRANSLITERATION Yaa- Waduudu, Yaa- waduudu, Yaa- Zal- ‘arshil- majiidi, Yaa- mubdiu, Yaa- muiidu Yaa- fa’aalun lima yuriidu, as- alukabinuuri Waji-hi-ka, Ladhi mala- a-arkana, arshi-ka, wabiqudrati-kallatii qoddarta bihaa ’alaa khalqi-ka, wabirahmati-kalatti wasi ‘at kullashaehin, anta was’ ita kulla Shaehin rahamatan wa’ilman, Laa illaaha illah Anta, Yaa- mugiithu, yaa- magiithu agithni TRANSLATION Oh the loving Allah; Oh the loving Allah, Oh the Owner of the mighty throne, Oh the Originator, oh the Restorer, You that do what you want, I am asking You with the light of Your presence that illuminates Your throne, and with Your might that is destined on Your creatures and with Your blessing and knowledge, there is no deity worthy of been worshipped except You, Oh the Helper, help me. After he finished this prayer, all of sudden a man riding fast blaze horse, wearing a green cloth and holding a lighting spear appeared to him. And immediately the thief sighted this man he abandoned the trader and quickly moved towards this blazing-horse rider who swiftly attacked him until the thief fell down. He pulled the thief by the neck and handed him to the trader and he said ‘kill him yourself’. But the trader said ‘I have never killed in my life and I will never kill a soul with my hand’ then the horse rider turned backto the thief and killed him. The horse rider now told the trader that ‘I am an angel of Allah from the third layer of heaven, when you said the prayer for the first time we heard the doors of heaven shaking and we said something has been happening somewhere and when you said it the second time, the doors of heaven opened with a blazing fire. And when you said the prayer the third time the Angel Gabriel descended and said who among you Angels will help this distressed person. And I begged Allah to give me the task to kill the thief’. The horse rider (Angel) said further that ‘any distressed person that begs Allah using this prayer will surely be bailed out of his calamity and Allah will surely help him.’ When the trader reached Medina triumphantly he went to the Prophet (SAW) and told him the whole story and the prayer too, the Prophet (SAW) now said that ‘Allah has taught you His beautiful names which if anyone prays with it He answers, and if anyone makes request with it He surely grants it.’

الإِسْلاَمُ خُلْقٌ

يَا شَبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ # لِتَكُونُومُسْلِمِينَ

إِنَّمَا الْإِسْلاَمُ خُلْقٌ # فَالْزَمُو خُلْقً الْمَكِينَ

خُلِقَ الْمَبْعُوثُ فِينَا # رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالِمِينَ

زَوْجُهُ قَدْ وَصَفَتْهٌ # وَصْفَ مَنْ يَدِرِي الْيَقِينَ

إِنَّمَا الْقُرْءَانُ خُلْقٌ # جَاءَ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ دِينَا

 

اَلنَّهْىُ عَنْ الظُّلْمُ

لاَتَظْلَمَنَّ امْرَءًا إِذًا مَاكُنْتَ مُفْتَدِرً # فَالظُّلْمُ يَرْجِعُ عُقْبَاهُ إِلَى النَّدَمِ

تَنَامُ عَيْنَاكَ وَالْمَظْلُومُ مُنْتَبِهٌ # يَدْعُوا عَلَيْكَ وَعَيْنُ اللهِ لَمْ تَنَمِ

                                            

IMPORTANCE OF ISTIGHFAR

Istighfar is so important that even the prophet,the best of all creation himself used to do it excessively in many times and places.it has come to us in Saheeh Bukhari.'O people,repent to your Lord,for verily i seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to him more than seventy times in a day'.

Allah loves to forgive so much,that Abu Hurayrah(R) reports from the prophet(S) "By Him in whose Hand is my life,if you were not to commit sin,Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah,and He would have pardoned them(Muslim).

1.Istighfar causes the doer to benefit in both this life and the hereafter.

2.Allah prevents His punishment from falling on those who make Istighfar.

3.Istighfar is a relief from many kinds of problems that occur in this life,particularly those of provision,having children and rain.

4.Istighfar earns Allah's love.indeed,Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.

                                         CONDITIONS IN PERFORMING ISTIGHFAR

1.Immediate renunciation of the sin.

2.Firm intention and determination not to return to the sin ever again.

3.Regret over having committed a sin.

4.If the sin was against the rights of another human being,then one must also compensate for it.

                                       

APPLICATION OF ISTIGHFAR IN SEEKING ALLAH'S MERCY AND AVERTING PROBLEMS IN ONES LIFE

1.SALATUL TASBIH:-Make intention of 4 Rakat,in each Rakat,recite fatiha and any other surah,while you are standing you will say

'SUBHANALLAH, ALHAMDULILLAH, LAILAHAILLALLAH,ALLAHU AKBAR.

15x after reciting surah fatiha and any other surah

10x during ruku

10x in qu'ma(after the ruku)

10x in the first sujud.

10x in q;adah(between the sujud)

10x in the second sujud.

10x in sitting position after sajdah before getting up for the second rakah.

Repeat the procedure in all the 4 rakah.

NOTE:-Each of Dua should start with a lot of Assalatu ala nabi before embarking on it and also end it with a comprehensive intention.(of the challenges of ones life)
